Patents shall be renewed annually on the national filing date (national applications) or international filing date (PCT, EP). Late payment of annuities is available within six months grace period with 50% fine.
The first three annuities are paid with the national patent application filing fee.
The fourth annuity, and every further shall be paid before expiration of the previous one.

The first three annuities are paid with the regional phase filing fee.
For such patents the first annuity, due for payment in Slovenia is the one that falls due immediately after date of publishing of EP grant decision.
