Industrial designs

Industrial design shall be registered for a design to the extent that it is new and has an individual character. In Slovenia an industrial design may be registered with national or international application.

The term of industrial design is one or more periods of five years from filing date, but no more that 25 years from filing date. One industrial design application may include several designs belonging to the same class of Locarno classification. Multiple Industrial design may be renewed for all or only some designs.

National industrial design application

The application shall include applicant’s exact name and address, name and address of authors, drawings or photography of claimed model or design.
One model or design may be represented with up to six drawings or photographs.
Paris convention priority may be claimed (6 months).
Power of attorney is required and may be filed later.
