Assignments
A patent, trademark or industrial design, or an application for the same may be assigned to another party.
The required documents include original, notarized assignment deed, or a certified copy of agreement, and a power of attorney in the name of assignee (the new owner). One assignment document may serve for recording of multiple assignments.
A patent, trademark or industrial design, or an application for the same may be licensed to another party.
The license agreement shall be in writing, and shall include at lest the following information: subject of license, scope of license, type of license (exclusive or non-exclusive), term of license, right to grant sublicense and agreed remuneration.
The agreement may be entered in the corresponding register by a licensor or a licensee and in both cases the required documents include a certified copy of license agreement and a power of attorney in the name of licensor and a power of attorney in the name of licensee.
